These beginner squad tips focus on habits that win before you chase S-tier guns — though we link progression paths below.

First 30 minutes checklist

1. Complete the Commissar onboarding — The in-game tutorial explains interact prompts and basic shooting better than any wiki summary.
2. Open Preferences Menu — Confirm sprint (Shift), crouch/prone (C), stand (X), inventory (Tab), tilt (Q/E), kick (T), block (B), and interact (G).
3. Join the studio rook. Roblox group — Required for many promo rewards.
4. Redeem working Codes — Supply Codes button on the right side of the screen; paste exactly as written. Codes grant medals and Enlisted Crates (firearms, melee, cosmetics).

Squad habits that beat better guns

Regroup before every gas rotate

Gas punishes players who sprint alone. When the squad UI shows movement pressure, stop looting and walk together toward the marked safe pocket. One player watching rear while three move is fine — zero players watching rear is how runs end.

Never block the only lane

Trench geometry is narrow. Crouch shooting is good; standing in the door while reloading is not. Step aside so teammates can pass — especially the player running Melee Tier List cleanup.

Call extract early

Beginners lose more runs on extract timers than on DPS. When the objective completes, move as a unit toward extract gates. Finish optional fights only if the timer allows.

Share what you rolled from crates

Failure: Dying with full pistol ammo because you never swapped.
Fix: Bind mental check at half magazine — swap to sidearm during reload-safe moments.

Failure: Chasing sniper fantasy in zero sightline trenches.

• Extracted cleanly at least twice with the same squad friends
• Can block and reload without panicking
• Opened firearms and melee crates from codes or gameplay
